Happy Friday!
It's almost the weekend! What fun plans does everyone have for the rest of the week? If you are looking for something new to do, keep reading! This week, I am highlighting some new and interesting activities to do in Las Vegas.
The City That Never Sleeps: A Guide to Las Vegas
New York City is called the city that never sleeps, but anyone who has been to Las Vegas knows that the nickname is very appropriate for the city. There's always something to see and do, whether it be at the casinos, museums, or other attractions. Interested in hearing about events this weekend? Then let's dig in!
Event #1: The Hunger Games: Exhibition
Not gonna lie, I copied this off the website.
Based on the world-renowned, blockbuster film franchise, The Hunger Games, The Hunger Games: The Exhibition celebrates and explores the epic journey of Katniss Everdeen from her humble beginnings in District 12 to her emergence as the Mockingjay. A dynamic exploration into the world of Panem, the exhibition leads guests on a mission to become a part of the rebellion to conquer the capitol, while featuring stunning architectural design and special effects lighting that highlight iconic costumes, genuine props and artistic set recreations from the popular cinematic series. Located at the MGM Grand, this exhibit has hands on interactive elements that will keep the movie lover in you fascinated at every turn.
The Hunger Games Exhibition is open Thursday through Monday from 11:00 AM - 06:00 PM.
Event #2: Ethel M's 7th Annual Lights of Love Attraction
Valentine's Day is officially only 17 days away, and the stakes are on. You have to plan that perfect evening for your special lady, and I have the solution for you: Ethel M's Chocolates and Cactus Garden. Running from January 30th through February 14th, Ethel M's is having their 7th annual Lights of Love Attraction. Take a stroll through the three acre cactus garden located at 2 Cactus Drive, Henderson, NV, where you will see half a million twinkling, romantic lights decorating their cacti. Reservations are required, and can be made online at their website at www.ethelm.com with a $5 donation to the Three Square Food Bank. While there, stop inside and pick up some of Ethel M's chocolates! With so many options to choose from, there's something for everyone on your list. On top of that, you can actually watch them make the chocolate in the store!
